Process Engineer
The Process Engineer will be based in Flex north campus is responsible for improving manufacturing processes focused on cost, quality, and delivery, supporting overall production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Understand manufacturing processes, technologies, and products.
- Define, implement, and optimize processes for manufacturability.
- Identify root causes of process failures and implement solutions.
- Support daily production activities and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and control process parameters for consistency and reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (cycle time, yield, productivity).
- Support equipment selection, implementation, and validation.
- Manage engineering changes (ECOs).
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Collaborate with production on new process implementation and transfers.
- Provide training to production personnel.
- Support equipment maintenance as needed.
- Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Completed university degree.
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge of automation.
- Expertise in process definition (NPI to mass production).
- KPI management.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, DFA, and QCP (Quality Control Plan).
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with Lean manufacturing tools (poka-yoke, 5S, Kanban, SMED, 8D).
- Experience with SolidWorks or mechanical design tools.
