Automation Engineer – Mechanical

What a typical day looks like:
- Perform site surveys to identify and document existing customer equipment and processes.
- Feasibility study, technical analysis even lab testing for customer product/process requirement
- Responsible for System projects' design & development with high quality awareness
- Product mechanic design both in standard parts and non-standard parts
- System verification in whole development process with good abilities of troubleshooting
- Coordinate project activities with other associates, outside vendors/contractors and customers.
- Create and maintain related controlled documentation (logics & functional schematics, state machines, business scenarios, sequencing & timing diagrams, process flows, acceptance test procedures, technical/operational/maintenance manuals)
- Support system Commissioning, Qualification and de-bugging
- Conduct and supervise integration and service by technicians and user engineers.

- An automation mechanical engineer/Sr engineer role with a minimum of 2-10 years of experience in:
- Good knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic, electric standard parts brand, performance, character, parameters, etc
- Good knowledge in machining process, common material model parameters, machining related surface treatment principles
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, ProE, UG, SolidWorks, etc. )
- Strong knowledge in the various rapid prototype techniques
- Good knowledge in dimensional tolerances and inspection techniques
- Data gathering, Data analytics, reporting and dash boarding
- Better to familiar with product management process and software (PDM, Winchill, etc. )
- Know DFMEA, PFMEA, DOE, CPK, GR&R, related assistance tools be plus
- Familiar related standard & system, like ISO9001, TS16949, EMS IPC-3 be plus
