Engineering Technician

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Engineering Technician located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Engineering Technician Supervisor the Engineering Technician will be responsible for assisting with the development and delivery of customer presentations and interface with customers.

Shift – 3rd Shift 11:00pm-7:15am (Sunday-Thursday)

What a typical day looks like:

• At the start of shift check with the prior shift for incidents that may have occurred
• Check for pending program creation.
• Check for Process Change Notices(PCN) or Engineering Change Notice(ECN)
• Check for any Deviations that need to be applied
• Check with the Line Leads of each line to see if they have any concerns.
• Walk the lines to look for opportunity for improvements in efficiency
• Follow up with the Quality Inspector at the end of the line for defects. Investigate, if needed.
• Make routine trips throughout the shift to check line performance
• Ensure all required training is completed

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Associate degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge and may lead process.
• Demonstrates advanced technical skills.
• Demonstrates basic functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process. Requires basic competency related to function.
• Demonstrates technical skills.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
