Automation Engineer Intern

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this summer, we're looking to add an Automation Engineer Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Automation Engineering Manager, the student will fulfill daily automation engineering tasks while becoming familiar with and learning existing systems to better assess the needs for conversion of manual processes to automated solutions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Collaborates with IT team and Facilities team to troubleshoot network related issues
• Provides input on related functional processes based on educational and professional experience
• Attends team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:

• Junior/Senior undergrad student pursuing Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related major.
• Ability to understand layouts and diagrams.
• CAD drawing abilities to create/modify layouts, 1-lines, etc.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical utilities
• Ability to create reports and presentations about activities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

Internship Program Requirements:

• Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA
