Job Summary: The Senior Commercial Loan Operations QC Administrator is responsible for leading advanced quality control reviews of complex commercial loan transactions and closing documentation. This role ensures operational and regulatory accuracy, identifies control gaps, and provides guidance to junior QC staff. The senior administrator plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, reducing risk, and supporting process enhancements across the loan lifecycle. Pay Range: $21.09 - $26.89 - $32.70
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth quality control reviews of complex commercial loan closing packages, system data entries, and servicing transactions.
- Validate accuracy of loan attributes such as rates, terms, collateral, and legal documentation across loan systems and source records.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on documentation standards and system requirements.
- Provide coaching, support, and training to junior QC team members; serve as a first point of escalation for review exceptions.
- Document and escalate significant findings and partner with business units to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Analyze trends in QC findings and contribute to root cause analysis, remediation plans, and control enhancements.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Operations leadership on audits, exams, and policy updates.
- Support ongoing refinement of QC procedures, tools, and reporting to align with regulatory and business needs.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Education level required: College, Vocational or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent) ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum experience required: 4+ Years experience in an insurance related company, large commercial bank or related financial institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) (Add applicable additional detail i.e. field of study preferred or equivalent work experience if applicable)
- Proficiency in commercial loan platforms (e.g., ACBS, LoanIQ, nCino).
- Knowledge of FEMA flood guidelines, FDPA, and commercial compliance standards.
- Knowledge of banking regulations such as FDPA, RESPA, and other commercial lending compliance standards.
