We are seeking a Software Development Engineering Senior. A Software Development Engineering Senior at Fiserv is integral to a multidisciplinary team working on the analysis, development, and maintenance of software responsible for the core processing of acquirement (debit and credit cards), focused on international projects in the LATAM region.

What do we look for? (Technical and behavioral requirements)

• Advanced knowledge in PL/SQL or JAVA or NodeJS
• Solid experience in software analysis and development using PL/SQL (hands on)
• Participated in relevant projects as a Developer
• Accustomed to handling large volumes of data in a critical environment with high competition for access
• Knowledge of all stages of the software development cycle
• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in priorities
• Experience in data analysis and in solving complex problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work autonomously in the development of activities
• Graduated in Computer Science or a related field
• Intermediate English is mandatory

What will be your responsibilities?

This professional will be responsible for:

• Interpreting demands from the Business Analyst group and being able to translate them into technical solutions that meet business requirements
• Participating in status meetings, being able to report to the technical leader, communicating with clarity and objectivity
• Being active in the removal of blockages, accessing knowledge bases and team colleagues
• Being stubborn about the quality of your deliverables, with the goal of creating functional software solutions that meet business requirements
• Being responsible for the end-to-end deliverable from development, unit testing, defect correction, pre-implementation validations, and post-implementation support
• Continuous learning, with the goal of accumulating technical knowledge of solutions in the acquirement area
• Working together with other interdisciplinary squads within the Software Engineer team
• Bug/problem correction/performance improvements identified by clients and other areas

• Has experience in financial segment companies
• Knowledge in the area of acquirement processing
