What a successful Director of Development, Security, and Operations does at Fiserv:

Connects development, security, and operations to ensure our payment solutions and financial services are delivered with high availability, resilience, and top-notch protection from end to end. Leads multidisciplinary teams to incorporate DevSecOps practices at scale, driving automation, observability, and incident response. Acts as a strategic partner to product and technology areas, aligning technical decisions with business objectives. Influences the security culture from solution design to production operation, always with a focus on the customer.

What you will do:

• Lead the DevSecOps strategy, directing standards, frameworks, and best practices throughout the development and operation lifecycle.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines with security controls, automated tests, and embedded compliance.
• Coordinate the response to critical incidents, ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Establish and monitor indicators of availability, performance, security, and quality, acting on continuous improvement plans.
• Sponsor the adoption of automation in infrastructure, observability, configuration management, and hardening of environments.
• Foster a culture of "security by design" among engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Information Security teams to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
• Develop and engage DevSecOps leaders and specialists, promoting collaboration among global teams.

What you need to have:

• Domination of DevOps and SRE practices in high-criticality environments and high transaction volumes.
• Consolidated experience in application and infrastructure security, including vulnerability analysis and risk management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., for build, tests, deploy, and infrastructure as code).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong results orientation, with the ability to prioritize demands and make decisions in complex contexts.

What would be great to have (Desirable):

• In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms and shared security responsibility models.
• Experience with advanced observability (logs, metrics, traces) and service reliability management.
• Previous work in financial institutions, payment systems, or large technology companies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards applicable to the financial sector.
• Experience in global or multicultural environments, with coordination of distributed teams.
