We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Services Team Lead to ensure the seamless execution of our food service operations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Tray Line & Dish Room Oversight: Ensure all components of the dish room and tray line are properly set up before and after each meal period, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
Quality Control: Inspect trays for completeness and visual appeal, upholding presentation standards.
Team Leadership: Direct and support room service staff to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Monitor attendance and arrange coverage as needed, in line with departmental guidelines.
Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to HACCP protocols, including accurate documentation of cooler and freezer temperatures. Promote and enforce food safety best practices.
Customer Service: Review and respond to customer service concerns with professionalism and urgency, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Training & Development: Provide orientation for new team members and actively participate in cross-training initiatives to foster a versatile and knowledgeable staff.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service
Completion of First U Leadership Level I training within the first 12 months of employment
