The role involves selling core products and encouraging cross-selling of other direct sales products in the assigned business territory. It also includes building and maintaining effective business relationships with customers, managing the assigned team to increase sales in accordance with credit policy, and managing daily activities and staff performances through digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include managing the team to meet or exceed monthly sales, planning, organizing, leading, and controlling team activities using Microsoft Tasks/CRM/digital transformation mediums, conceptualizing and creating new business avenues in collaboration with Employee Banking, sourcing quality business while ensuring fraud and compliance guidelines are met, and ensuring effective customer relationship management using NPS survey remarks/scores.

Additional duties involve developing and maintaining reporting/tracking systems, anti-attrition processes, managing a team including addressing their training needs, building and maintaining effective business relationships with all internal departments and branches, building and growing the sales organization as an extension of the branch manager and the branch network, interfacing with Employee Banking relationship managers to deploy teams effectively, assisting in conducting promotional activities, meetings, and road shows to achieve or exceed budgeted sales volumes, ensuring complete and error-free documentation for all approved applications, ensuring regular follow-up for document discrepancies, providing monthly MIS on performance to the Manager of the assigned region, providing weekly MIS on all related sales/services updates to the Manager DSD team, providing regular customer and market feedback to senior management to improve product offering and business acquisition, capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities, recommending bank products proposed from the team that are considered good credit risk and as per bank policy, requiring good convincing and negotiating skills according to the complexity of business, providing continuous suggestions on changes and ways of improving FAB products, managing business complexity in view of competition, identifying cross-selling opportunities for other business divisions of the bank, motivating the assigned team by awarding high performers and guiding others to improve their performance, managing the area to ensure that overall responsibilities are achieved/exceeded, increasing the bank's visibility in the banking/financial industry, developing new strategies for the business of the respective area and building a strong business support unit, and increasing the bank's overall profitability.

Authority and decision-making will be given in delegation by the manager to ensure a smooth process for the team at all times.

Key performance indicators, skills, and competencies include leadership and team management skills, service quality & customer/dealer relations, comprehensive sales skills, high motivation and pro-activity, ability to develop strong professional relationships between team and customers, good knowledge of bank retail products, very good computer and organizational skills, competitive and multicultural awareness on related resources, market knowledge and competition policy/process awareness, customer sales targets, growth in total portfolio revenue, client satisfaction index, and adherence to policies, processes, and procedures of FAB.

Qualifications and experience include a university degree or equivalent qualification, desirable to have a sales diploma or certification, excellent PC skills, between 3-5 years' experience in selling banking products or in a financial industry, and experience in a similar job area is an added advantage.
