Small Works Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our maintenance team for a skilled Small Works Engineer. This role involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and occasional surveying of various Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) and fire alarm systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality work to our clients, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, and carry out fault-finding/repairs on AOV and fire alarm systems.
- Work with smoke ventilation systems, including inverters, fans, and dampers.
- Visit client sites primarily within the M25, with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays as required.
- Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.
- Participate in the company's out-of-hours callout rota, responding to emergency breakdowns as needed.
- Liaise with clients and the internal team to ensure smooth project delivery.
