As a Service Writer, you'll handle work order processing, scheduling, and administrative tasks while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Open, close, and process work orders and invoices accurately.
Maintain control of field and shop work orders in collaboration with the supervisor.
Support scheduling of technicians and manage the service board for efficient operations.
Track and retrieve purchase orders (POs) and maintain equipment status updates.
Ensure accurate billing and parts inventory tracking.
Maintain safety records, SMFs, and compliance documentation.
Support AP/AR processes and other administrative duties as required.
Dispatch field technicians and monitor their location for safety.
Provide mechanics with daily paperwork and job details.
Track NDT requirements and update spreadsheets.
Order shop supplies and monitor inventory levels.
Activate site access and support safety compliance tracking.
Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
Complete administrative functions as required.
Previous related experience in a mechanical or shop setting is an asset.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory control software.
Excellent reading comprehension and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Based out of our Lloydminster location.
Permanent, full-time role.
Monday – Friday, 5x2 schedule.
