Rental Sales Representative
Finning is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Rental Sales Representative to drive rental equipment sales across assigned accounts and regions. Job Description
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Present and sell rental products and services to current and prospective clients.
- Develop action plans and schedules to identify sales targets and track outreach efforts.
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity and marketing events.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to customer needs.
- Maintain up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge to support customer conversations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely delivery and service execution.
- Monitor account performance through quality checks, follow-ups, and status reporting.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and promotional events to expand market reach.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in equipment rentals or construction
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong understanding of rental fleet products and their applications
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer operations
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations and written proposals
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques and marketing strategies
- Experience coordinating shipping schedules and managing service delivery
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Permanent, full-time role.
