Leadhand - Journeyperson Countersales Partsperson

We are seeking a Leadhand - Journeyperson Countersales Partsperson to support our client at Fort McKay. As the Leadhand - Journeyperson Countersales Partsperson, you are responsible for leading a highly motivated team, delegating parts duties, handling a variety of parts sales duties including telephone and walk in parts sales orders as well as all facets of the parts ordering system.

Job Description:

  • Delegating parts duties
  • Parts orders and delivery
  • Scheduling (Vacation Coverage and OT)
  • NSC Management - Logbook and vehicle maintenance
  • Weekly inventory usage reporting to customer
  • Handling incoming telephone calls
  • Internal field service and walk in customer parts sales orders
  • Sourcing and ordering used parts
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Pulling customer and branch parts orders
  • Processing parts credits
  • Participate in parts related special projects and assignments
  • Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required

Other functions may include but are not limited to:

  • NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
  • Procurement of non-CAT parts
  • Managing backordered parts

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Parts Certification or Red Seal Journeyman Parts Certification required
  • Forklift, reach truck and order picker experience and current certifications
  • Shop parts experience and familiarity with all parts related CAT applications, Infor and M3 Mobility (RF gun) proficient
  • A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
  • Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
  • Experience with Lawson/SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, Ability to upload XML files and the MS Office Package will be considered assets

Note:

  • This role is based at our Fort McKay facility and works a 7x7 continuous shift rotation
  • WHMIS, TDG, and First Aid Certification will be required upon hire
  • NOT a Fly-In / Fly-Out position
  • Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
  • Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
