We are looking for a DevOps Manager focusing on our Summit product.

Summit is Finastra's flagship front-to-back treasury and capital markets solution, designed to support global investment banks and financial institutions. With over 25 years of market expertise, Summit enables efficient trading, risk management, and compliance across a wide range of asset classes. It offers a modular architecture, real-time decision-making tools, and seamless integration with market data providers like Bloomberg and Refinitiv. Built for flexibility and scalability, Summit supports rapid product innovation and straight-through processing (STP), helping institutions reduce costs and accelerate time to market.

The role will involve management of the Summit DevOps team (3 DevOps Engineers: 2 seniors in Romania, 1 junior in India), in constant connection with Summit R&D teams in Bucharest, and with IT and CISO teams.

The Summit DevOps are responsible, from Summit source code to packages, for the reliable and efficient automated processes that build, scan, test and deliver Summit to customers.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on and good technical skills (coding, Linux & Windows admin, Docker, Kubernetes). Prior successful experience in developing CI/CD for big products (10M LOCs).
• Ability to prioritize, build, track, update and communicate a quarterly DevOps SAFE PI plan, defined in collaboration with the Summit R&D, IT and CISO teams; parallel to a strong daily focus on production (support of R&D teams who are customers of DevOps processes).
• Continuous improvement, innovation and status-quo challenging to drive the Summit CI/CD modernization to align it on the Kondor one. That's a one year project, that will be delivered incrementally:
• Inventory, rationalization and new CI/CD architecture design: between 2 and 3 months.
• Migration to pipelines as code (Jenkins + Groovy) + Azure based builds (on AKS):
• Summit master branch: between 5 and 6 months.
• Summit maintenance branches (starting from 5.6): couple of weeks each
