About Your Role

The Strategic Sales Manager is a key senior position within Fidelity's wholesale sales team responsible for leading and deepening strategic relationships and sales for Fidelity's key client relationships. The primary responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Growing & maintaining new and existing key strategic accounts within the intermediary market including but not limited to consultants & private wealth groups at a head office level
  • Setting and executing on sales plans & campaigns for key strategic clients working closely with the Director, Strategic Sales and wholesale distribution team.
  • Growing distribution of Fidelity's investment capabilities across key strategic clients as well as maximizing retention of mature assets
  • Growing sales with private wealth advisor channels coordinating closely with the Director, Strategic Sales on a top down level as well as supporting the wholesale team in generating sales for key IFA advisors.
  • Driving commercial relationships with key strategic clients including sponsorships, fee arrangements etc
  • Present at key strategic client events and represent Fidelity at conferences where relevant being across key market and product trends
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders such as investment management, marketing, operations, legal and compliance in delivering solutions to key clients
  • Contributing to working groups where relevant

About You

  • Have 10 years + experience in wholesale distribution
  • Have an established network of relationships across various levels within key national advice dealer groups and private wealth groups
  • Have a strong track record in sales generation and relationship management
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Organized and strong attention to detail
  • Team player a must
  • Good interpersonal skills, self-starter & proactive
  • The ability to accurately prioritize tasks and respond flexibly to changing circumstances.
  • High proficiency level with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
