The Taiwan marketing team focuses on Product Marketing and General Marketing, executing targeted strategies for Wholesales, Institutional, and Personal Investing channels. Collaborating closely with local and regional teams, aim to enhance brand recognition and market share by effectively managing and communicating product positioning, investment strategies, and Fidelity insight thus playing a crucial role in growing the business within Taiwan.
The Taiwan product marketing team is responsible for managing both the Fidelity onshore and offshore products in accordance with global and regional product positioning, investment outlook and strategies, and other relative guidelines, ensuring the investment outlook and strategies can be clearly delivered and the position positioning can be well articulated. The Taiwan product marketing team is also responsible for communicating the Fidelity insights, Fidelity capabilities, product positioning and product strategies with the various business channels, collaborating with the Taiwan distribution teams, Taiwan general marketing team, regional marketing team and investment team internally. The Taiwan product marketing team also responsible for client communication in order to grow Taiwan business and build the Fidelity brand recognition and earn Taiwan market share.
About You
1. Communication
- Build relationships across the Fidelity network to ensure the Taiwan Product Marketing team is deeply connected to the broader marketing, product and investment teams
- Engage with sales teams for client communication to demonstrate Fidelity's capabilities and thought leadership, to articulate on Fidelity's product positioning and the advantage of the strategy.
2. Product Management
- Deep dive analysis on Fidelity products, including investment capabilities, investment strategies, investment objectives, investment philosophy, investment process, performance, portfolios, competitor analysis, and etc, that can further identify the unique selling points and holistically position the products.
- Produce product marketing propositions and supporting content which sets Fidelity's capability & solution/products apart from its competitors and is recognized for its strategic client-centred positioning.
- Work closely with ID teams in order to have more colour and insight that can more have timely communication to meet clients' inquiries.
3. Investment Insight
- Understand the key features of different asset classes, the Fidelity market view and outlook, current market backdrop and recent market movement that can further strengthen the communication.
- Deliver effective market update and market outlook presentations, and further link to product communication, that provide better narrative and high quality of communication.
- Monitor fund performance and proactively identify issues under specific market backdrop.
4. Marketing Materials
- Deliver high quality of marketing materials
- Manage all product-based marketing content requirements for the business across the various functions including digital marketing, events and public relations.
- Connect the outputs of the Brand & Insights proposition into product marketing programs
Experience and Qualifications
- 3+ years of investment or marketing experience with proven track record in product marketing, investment writing, research and analysis.
- Experience working in the asset management industry essential.
- A proactive communicator with proven ability to actively participate in and influence discussions and build comprehensive internal networks within the organisation.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential.
- Understanding of the dynamics and needs of distribution clients such as retail banks and insurance companies.
- Proven ability to work closely with investment professionals and maintain strong working relationships.
- PC proficient (knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Bloomberg, Datastream, Morningstar Direct and Lipper Investment Management is essential).
- Chinese language is a must, with fluent command in English language communication skill
- Professional license: Taiwan SITE/SICE License or Senior Broker License is a must.
