As the Brand & Acquisitions Marketing Manager, your role is to support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives focused on enhancing brand visibility, consideration and driving customer acquisition.

You'll support the Brand & Acquisitions Senior Marketing Manager and the Head of Strategic and Brand Marketing, to develop and deliver all brand and advertising campaigns.

Advertising / Brand Campaigns: Supporting the planning and execution for all GPS Brand Advertising Campaigns, from the overarching annual campaign strategy development and management, to the execution across upper funnel ATL and mid-funnel campaign activity.

You'll work closely with Fidelity's media and creative agency partners, developing comprehensive campaign plans for your channels, forecasting brand and acquisition performance, driving budget efficiency and leading in-campaign reporting. You'll collaborate with the performance marketing team to ensure integrated planning, and work with the product marketing team to ensure campaign plans support business objectives. You'll remain up to date with the latest channel innovations, best practice creative execution and competitor campaign activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development and Execution: Implement and optimise innovative brand and acquisition campaigns that resonate with the target audience to deliver brand and acquisition objectives. Ensure continuous performance optimisation, challenging the agency on underdelivery against plan.
  • Campaign Management: Execute the advertising/campaign strategy across the year, including Upper Funnel ATL creative & media ownership, working closely with agency partners.
  • Media Planning and Reporting: Responsible for the day to day running of upper funnel ATL (TV, BVOD, CTV, Radio/Digital Audio, OOH, Cinema) and performance reporting.
  • Campaign Creative Assets: Responsible for upper funnel ATL creative asset creation (via agency), sign off (compliance) and supply management (via agency/Adobe/direct). You'll also support in the creation of always on activity to ensure integration through the marketing funnel.
  • Campaign Integration: Partner with broader team, to support integration into their parts of the consideration funnel & customer journey across media and creative.
  • Management Information (MI): Manage the content creation for all campaign reporting meetings and Post-Campaign Analysis (PCA), collating information from internal and external sources, and presenting in a comprehensive but concise format, to be shared with stakeholders.
  • Competitor Campaign Analysis: Maintain regular competitor analysis & benchmarking (marketing creatives, media spend and incentive strategy) to share insights for strategic and tactical planning.
  • Budget Management: Manage the PO requirements for all ATL creative and media, ensuring all activity is within planned budget, with invoices processed on time.

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Technical marketing experience: You'll have experience of planning and managing ATL media and/or creative, either client or agency side.
  • Agency Management: You can confidently and effectively manage third party partners to ensure agreed outputs are delivered, and activity is continually optimised. You recognise when things need to be escalated, and can confidently problem solve.
  • Collaboration: You proactively establish effective working relationships built on trust. You can facilitate communication and coordination with stakeholders across departments for campaign support.
  • Driving Results and Innovation: You have a results-oriented mindset, with a track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and a proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms.
  • Budget / Performance Analysis and Optimisation: You have experience of managing budgeting processes and can efficiently manage purchase order and invoicing processes with suppliers. You're confident analysing media results to optimise marketing spend to drive optimal ROI.
  • Project / Campaign Management: Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring campaigns launch on time and within budget. Naturally curious, with relentless attention to detail to spot innovation opportunities and quickly address problems or performance gaps.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator, experienced in creating marketing packs to share data and results with stakeholders.
  • Marketing Performance Analysis: You have general experience of using marketing analytics tools and platforms, and are confident interpreting media results, and translating these into actionable insights.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working within Financial Services and understanding of UK FCA compliance requirements would be an advantage but not essential.
