Systems Services And Support Analyst
The purpose of your role is to support the production batch of both Mainframe & Distributed jobs.
Resource should have knowledge on Batch Monitoring, Alerts handling, Abend Handling & Escalation procedures. Adhoc Request Processing with one time production changes. The resource is expected to work closely with the management to handle and send communication on the major issues, drive the Initiatives, standardize the process, and bring in automation to reduce manual work.
The value you deliver includes providing operational support in the Control M environment (Distributed and Mainframe) which includes:
- Monitoring and Escalations of Control M batch job failures and delays
- Abend Recovery of all production Control M batch jobs on time
- Batch Cycle SLA management
- Request Processing - Implementation of temporary (one time only) Scheduling changes for Control M batch jobs
- Addressing Space Issues, Contention and fixing them
- Good Knowledge on ITSM practices (Incident handling, Change / Service Request)
- Run a batch related Sev bridges and get the appropriate status cascaded
- Resolving critical jobs that would affect the application batch flow based on documents and error of the jobs such as Space Abends, time out error, Utility terminated or table space error
- Good Knowledge on SDSF parameters
The skills that are key to this role include:
- Knowledge on Scheduler tool (preferred Control M)
- Mainframe JCL, COBOL Basics, SDSF
- SNOW – Incident, Change & Service Request processing

Shift timings: 6 AM – 3 PM, 11 AM – 8 PM
