The SSMO Team within the Vendor Management Center of Excellence, is seeking a highly inquisitive, collaborative, inclusive individual who possesses a risk mindset to aid the team in serving as protectors of the firm, providing oversight over one of the Enterprise's tier 1 vendors.
The primary responsibility is to provide oversight of printing and mailing of financial communications (examples include checks, statements, tax forms and trade confirmations) by Broadridge Financial Services, ensuring they meet regulatory and contractual requirements. The oversight involves reviewing and collecting data to facilitate and provide analysis to assess dynamic risk and conditions. Last year Broadridge mailed xxx on behalf of the firm.
The secondary responsibilities, but often the most complicated, but exciting, are facilitating interactions between BFS and Fidelity's many internal business partners in support of research, risk mitigation, actions related to change requests and project implementation, while ensuring Fidelity's best interests are represented.
The Strategic Supplier Management Operations (SSMO) team is an operations team within the Vendor Management Center of Excellence. The team provides oversight of the fulfillment printed communications, much of which is regulatory in nature. In 2024 Broadridge mailed nearly 160 million financial communication envelopes on behalf of the Fidelity Enterprise. The SSMO team is critical to the success of the firm and many business units in meeting regulatory deadlines, 365 days year. The team has the ability to engage at any time with Broadridge, Business Partners, technology teams which is particularly critical during times of contingency and mitigation.
