This role is responsible to carry out service jobs and technical inquiry, remotely and/or at customer's site and also accountable to manage the end-to-end process from failure identification and root cause analysis on technical complaint.

1. Responsible for carrying out service jobs and technical inquiry depending on qualification (remotely and/or on-site)

  • Troubleshooting of Festo products in customer application
  • System installation and/or coordination of system installation
  • Commissioning of systems with Festo products
  • Inspection of Festo products in customer application
  • Maintenance of Festo products in customer application
  • Energy saving services
  • Product repairs
  • Programming services of Festo PLC
  • Optimization/modernization of systems
  • Customer-specific workshops
  • And other services in service catalogue

2. Documentation and reporting of service activities

3. Respond to customers' technical inquiries and ensured adherence to the agreed target setting

4. Supports Sales Engineer, including site visit, in defining the right price and conditions for a service

5. Transferring of expert knowledge to internal and external Festo thru training, application note, demo product or other method

6. Performing any ad-hoc tasks been assigned by Line Manager from time to time

7. Failure identification, root cause analysis, identification of suitable measures, fault clearance, implementation of improvement measures of Festo products

8. Development, maintenance and execution of test and simulation (after sales) in the Festo Experience Center

9. To observe any potential of process, change opportunity

10. Case escalation to PSS if problem solving is not possible

What you need to have to be successful in this role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical
  • Diploma can be considered along with solid work experience
  • Customer service oriented
  • 3-4 years of Industrial Automation experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good spoken and written in English
  • Experience in Control system, PLC programming (Festo, Siemens, Omron, Allan Bradley, and/or Beckhoff), sensors, motor controller, servo motor, and/or remote IO
  • Knowledge in Compressed air preparation, energy saving, pneumatic actuators, control valves, and/or process valves
