You will be responsible for a designated territory in the South of England including Kent, Portsmouth, Hampshire and Sussex, engaging with a variety of healthcare professionals to promote products in the gastroenterology therapy area. You will be an innovative and solutions-based individual who is inquisitive, entrepreneurial and who relishes at the challenge of creating opportunities and challenging the norms. We will support you and ensure you have the learning support you need.

Your day at Ferring

  • Visit healthcare professionals, including payers, to inform and educate on our products, according to the brand marketing strategies and to be able to feedback to all relevant internal stakeholders on local environmental factors
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with relevant healthcare professionals and develop local experts across the promoted therapy areas, working with medical, market access and marketing colleagues to support attendance at local, national, and international congress
  • Be the local healthcare business expert, with the knowledge of your healthcare environment, able to prioritize your hospital accounts identifying key doctors and hospital accounts that will allow you to develop your local territory business
  • Review your business plan regularly, to ensure your account objectives and tactics are on track
  • Manage local budget as appropriate, to ensure that your key accounts and customers are supported. In addition, you will have opportunity to apply for extra investment from medical and marketing if you identify a specific project or other opportunity
  • Operate within the requirements of the ABPI at all times.

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Background in life sciences preferred
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving, time management and team collaboration abilities
