Sales Manager

Supervisory responsibilities include establishing departmental work schedules, preparing all associated paperwork for salespersons commissions, training sales team members to use consistent and current sales methodologies, setting policies and procedures for sales department, managing employee performance, assisting with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating team members, providing training for all sales team members.

Commitments include treating all team members and guests fairly, remaining current with all sales department training, being prompt and available for flexible scheduling, being honest and fair in all business dealings, demonstrating an interest in growing the sales business, and focusing on quality.

Qualifications and job requirements include 5+ years of progressive experience within the sales department of a motorcycle or vehicle dealership, and prefer knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership.

Physical demands include occasionally loud noise levels, the ability to balance and push a 650 lb. motorcycle, and exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, exhaust fumes, or other airborne particles.
