Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care. We deliver care across a growing range of daily health categories such as weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, acne and more.
The Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer based in the Greater Toronto Area to support Felix Health’s growing technology environment. This role is primarily remote but requires 1–2 on-site visits per month, with additional visits as needed for troubleshooting or hardware-related tasks.
You will handle day-to-day IT support, SaaS administration, hardware troubleshooting, and general IT operational tasks while collaborating closely with IT leadership. You must be comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team.
Responsibilities
Helpdesk & Onboarding/Offboarding
Provide L1/L2 support for Felix staff across Mac and Windows environments.
Independently manage and resolve IT helpdesk tickets in Jira with clear, timely communication.
Perform onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, access provisioning, and removal across multiple SaaS platforms.
Troubleshoot user issues related to software, access, connectivity, and general IT problems.
Support endpoint management and compliance using tools like Kandji, ESET, and similar platforms.
SaaS & System Administration
Managing user accounts, configurations, groups, permissions, and access policies across all systems / platforms.
Assisting with security checks, threat reviews, and maintaining platform hygiene.
Monitoring alerts, reviewing system health statuses, and escalating issues when required.
Hardware, On-Site Support & Infrastructure Checks
Troubleshoot and replace hardware such as desktops, terminals, monitors, printers, scanners, and label printers.
Perform light on-site tasks including:
Checking server, terminal, UPS, and network equipment health
Swapping or configuring Windows terminals
Verifying network functionality and connectivity
Good understanding of basic networking concepts, including configuration fundamentals, LAN/WAN basics, ports, subnets, and VLAN awareness.
IT Operations & Projects
SaaS platform audits
Licensing reviews
Automations and workflow improvements
Security or incident-related checks
General optimization of IT systems and processes
Maintain accurate IT documentation, runbooks, and process guides.
Qualifications
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
1–3 years of professional IT support or junior IT engineering experience.
Exposure or hands-on experience as an admin in multiple SaaS platforms (Google Admin, Kandji, Meraki, Slack Admin, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting ability across both software and hardware.
Solid understanding of:
macOS and Windows environments
Basic networking and configuration
Identity/access management concepts
Strong customer service mindset with clear communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to the Mississauga pharmacy
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Experience or exposure with administering several of the following platforms is required:
Google Admin / Google Workspace
Kandji
Cisco Meraki
Slack Admin
Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
Datadog or similar monitoring tools
Tailscale
ESET, CrowdStrike, or similar security/EDR platforms
Additional SaaS tools as needed
