As a FedEx Operations Support Agent you will work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines. Being part of a team, you will ensure that customers' urgent packages get to the right place, on time, providing customers a high-quality customer service whilst complying with all local and corporate legal requirements and ensuring the safe and secure movement of all freight.

Responsible for the completion of defined processes and procedures to deadline, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards. Identifies anomalies as they arise and uses judgement based on rules and procedures to resolve. For complex issues, may escalate to senior team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers in relation to collection requests, along with delivery queries.
  • Sort and allocate premium and distance deliveries.
  • Check and investigate (if required) failed deliveries / collections. Prioritise and re-allocate any failed deliveries for the next day delivery.
  • Input data into our in-house tracking system.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication / collaboration with the team / manager and other depots.
  • Follow FedEx processes, procedures and controls as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to your supervisor and team members as required within the location.
