Sales Technology Manager

Fastmarkets is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Revenue Operations Manager to join the Revenue Operations team. This person will partner with senior leaders across the Revenue Organization, with specialty focus in supporting the Events business. You will be a trusted and fully engaged advisor, focused on business operational activities, strategic planning, GTM optimization, and you will be relentless in your pursuit of assessing revenue opportunities. This is a high visibility, high impact role, with rapidly changing priorities. This role requires a high degree of both technical and commercial acumen. You will report to the Director of Commercial Operations and benefit from the full support of that team, with a dotted line to the Managing Director Events.

The ideal candidate has strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and a history of driving results. Most importantly, the candidate will drive, through strong relationships and excellent communication, alignment across stakeholders to execute key initiatives.

Role Purpose

The Sales Technology Manager will optimize the sales tech stack, ensuring tools are delivering maximum value to the sales organization. This role will drive adoption, identify efficiencies, and continuously improve workflows to align technology with sales strategy. With deep Salesforce expertise and a strong understanding of sales processes, this person will be the bridge between business needs and technical execution, helping sales teams work smarter and faster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the sales technology stack, with Salesforce as the core platform.
  • Work with sales leadership, CRM team and operations to translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Drive adoption and best practices across sales tools, ensuring the team is equipped and engaged.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and streamline processes within Salesforce and related systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales technology vendors, managing enhancements, integrations, and system roadmaps.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy across Salesforce and connected tools.
  • Deliver training, documentation, and ongoing support for sales teams to ensure consistent use of technology.
  • Stay current with emerging sales technologies and make recommendations for improvements or investments.
  • Contribute to the future vision for Sales Technology at Fastmarkets.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in optimizing Salesforce within a sales-driven organization.
  • Solid experience with wider sales technologies (e.g., Outreach, Gong, Highspot, Showpad, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Track record of driving adoption and embedding sales tools into daily workflows.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and how technology can enable efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Exposure to integrations and APIs.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and deliver practical solutions.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting sales in SaaS or B2B Subscription business.
  • Previous experience managing vendors and influencing technology budgets.
  • Exposure to Martech such as Marketo, HubSpot.
