Nutrition Services Aide

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position is 80 hours in a 2-week period, on a morning shift and is benefit eligible!

Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

Schedule:

Week 1:

Tuesday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Wednesday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Thursday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Friday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Week 2:

Monday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Tuesday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Wednesday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Thursday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Saturday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Sunday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or
• GED
