R&D - Product Support Engineer

FAAC Technologies is looking for an R&D - Product Support Engineer for its Headquarters in Zola Predosa, Bologna.

The selected candidate will join the Product Portfolio team and will act as a link between Product Development, Technical Support, and the Market, focusing mainly on technical support, training, and the collection of technical feedback to be shared with R&D.

Main responsibilities include:

• Act as a technical point of reference for product-related issues coming from international subsidiaries and selected external customers
• Analyze and solve mechanical, electronic, hardware, and software issues, identifying root causes and opportunities for improvement
• Collect and structure field feedback to support R&D in product development and improvement
• Collaborate with Product Development and R&D teams during testing, validation, and industrialization phases
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials
• Design and deliver technical training sessions (remote or on-site) for subsidiaries and customers
• Provide on-site technical support when necessary, mainly for complex issues, product launches, or validation activities

What is required to succeed in this position?

• Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent technical background
• Previous experience in a similar technical role
• Experience in technical support roles will be considered a plus
• Solid knowledge of electromechanical and hydraulic systems; basic knowledge of software and networks will be considered a plus
• Fluent in English
• Good familiarity with digital tools, cloud platforms, and remote support solutions
• Availability for occasional business travel
• Good communication skills and aptitude for working in multidisciplinary teams
