Provide tailored tax and financial planning advice for private entities, including C-Corps, S-Corps and Partnerships, as well as individuals/families with ultra-high net worth. Work with high growth private companies, including family-owned and private equity-owned businesses, and companies ranging from start-ups to multi-billion dollar global businesses. Balance time between compliance and planning, serving as a trusted advisor. Research tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies. Translate complex data from a variety of sources into client-ready deliverables. Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or a related field and 2 years of work experience in Tax and/or Financial Planning. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or related field and 1 year of work experience in Tax and/or Financial Planning is acceptable. Must have 1 year of experience in a professional services firm, or mid-sized/regional to large sized/national public accounting firm. Must have 1 year of experience in 3 or more of the following: federal and state personal and trust taxation; flow through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships and LLCs); C-Corps including income tax provisions and consolidated federal and state tax returns; and/or high net-worth tax planning. Must have 1 year of experience in conducting tax law research. Must have 1 year of experience in one of the following automated tax processing systems: GoSystems, CS Planner, Excel, and/or Checkpoint SurePrep.
