As part of our growing Managed Services practice, we are looking for a Service Delivery Team Leader to join our Finance, Accounting and Tax Delivery Team. In this role, you will lead operational teams within the EY Viseu Delivery Center, acting as a key driver of service delivery excellence, operational performance and continuous improvement across Finance & Accounting Managed Services.
The Service Delivery Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day management, performance and evolution of a Finance & Accounting (F&A) Managed Services operation. The role ensures delivery excellence against contractual commitments (SLAs / KPIs), strong client engagement, regulatory compliance and effective people leadership across end-to-end F&A processes.
Your key responsibilities as a Team Leader within EY Managed Services will include:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of F&A Managed Services processes (e.g. Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Financial Controls, Master Data Management and month-end close activities), ensuring consistency, accuracy and timeliness;
- Ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs and quality standards, driving service excellence and continuous improvement;
- Monitoring operational performance, service volumes and key risks, ensuring efficiency, scalability and operational resilience;
- Managing, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams within a Managed Services environment;
- Acting as the operational point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, managing escalations and ensuring clear and effective communication;
- Contributing to process optimization, standardization and automation initiatives, including RPA and AI-enabled solutions;
- Supporting transitions of new services, clients and geographies into the Managed Services delivery model.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Proven experience in Finance & Accounting operations within a shared service, BPO, or managed services environment;
- Strong understanding of end-to-end F&A processes (beyond a single process pillar);
- Previous experience in team coordination or leadership roles;
- Solid understanding of KPIs, SLAs, reporting and performance management;
- Client focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work in dynamic, multinational and multicultural environments;
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP or similar) is an advantage.

Qualifications:
- Experience in Service Delivery, Shared Services, or Finance Operations;
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
- Experience in large, multi-client managed services or transformation programmes;
- Experience with performance management, KPIs, reporting and operational governance;
- Exposure to process optimization, automation and RPA-enabled transformation;
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Business Central (Navision), Primavera, PHC or equivalent);
- Solid command of Microsoft Office tools, including data analysis and reporting;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
