Your key responsibilities

• Ensure that all the required work output is delivered in a timely manner in line with or exceeding the key performance expectations assigned for your position.
• Advise clients on visa, work permit, and residency requirements
• Prepare, submit, and track immigration applications
• Ensure compliance with local immigration laws and regulations
• Coordinate with government authorities
• Maintain accurate and confidential immigration records
• Monitor changes in immigration legislation and assess impact
• Manage deadlines and multiple cases simultaneously
• Resolve issues, rejections, or additional document requests

Skills and attributes for success

• Demonstrable experience in delivering quality outputs to clients
• Analyzing, processing and structuring information (data)
• The procedure for systemizing, recording and maintaining legal documents using advanced information technologies
• The essentials of economics, labor organization, production and management
• Working with internal work regulations and other corporate policies and procedures
• Experience with migration legislation and filing permit applications
• Strong motivation and drive to build a career in professional services
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a migration specialist, with exposure to employment or migration matters
• Hands-on experience with migration / immigration legislation, including preparation and filing of work permit and residence permit applications
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance related to foreign employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Azerbaijani
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach to managing cases and deadlines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Effective time management, ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
• Promote the practice's work through participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publications
• Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically
• Proactive, dedicated, innovative, resourceful and analytical
