Senior Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

To join the EY Romania team and perform real-time management of complex cybersecurity platforms and infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain technical architectures of cybersecurity platforms across different areas (Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, VMS, etc.)
• Manage highly critical cybersecurity platforms and infrastructure with a careful consideration on factors like scalability, reliability, etc.
• Perform proactive analysis for improvements for the cybersecurity platforms & infrastructure in scope.
• Configure, provision and manage infrastructure such as networking, storage, compute resources, etc.
• Monitor customer security tools and platforms in real-time to identify anomalous activity.
• Support major incident response activities, as needed.
• Coordinate response to incidents including scoping and root cause analysis, enacting improvement measures, and identifying and coordinating remediation efforts.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Completed technical higher education in the field of computer science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in operating, managing, designing, implementing, maintaining, or supporting cybersecurity technology
• Understanding of technologies and solutions utilized in cybersecurity and networks (SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, IAM, IDS/IPS, End Point Protection, Threat Management/Intelligence.)
• Familiar with concepts like DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, etc.
• Previous exposure to cloud platforms and environments
• Full professional proficiency in English, especially in technical writing and oral communications
• Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment

Nice to have:

• Cybersecurity certifications e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH
• Any vendor cybersecurity or cloud related certifications (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Terraform, etc.)
