Job Description

The Engagement Management Services (EMS) team at the GDS helps all ITTS engagements to enhance service delivery by ensuring proactive coordination, timely communication and efficient engagement management in a cost-effective manner. We are trained to carry out engagement management activities that are essential to each engagement, across different phases of the engagement life cycle.

Role and responsibilities: Accountable for assigned projects and to project sponsors. Coordinate cross functional teams to execute project to achieve project goals. Assist with the planning and execution of activities required to meet project goals within the project budget and schedule constraints.

Job Duties:

• Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
• Assemble a project team based on project needs and secure resources and budget.
• Organize, lead, and motivate project team.
• Lead project team to develop project plan according to project scope and requirements and execute the project plan.
• Monitor and control project performance to ensure the project is on track to achieve project goals.
• Work with project team or stakeholder to take corrective actions if project is not on track.
• Manage project budget, cost, and economics.
• Communication: report project status to stakeholders and facilitate project team meetings on regular basis. Manage project risks including identification and mitigation of risks.

Required Education, Experiences and Competencies: Minimum Bachelor's degree. Higher education is a plus. Minimum 3 years of project management experiences. Understanding and demonstration of project management methodology and associated tools (project start-ups, project planning, execution & tracking, etc.). Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus. Project management and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills.
