EY Parthenon Team in Financial Services supports our clients in complex, transaction-related corporate finance topics, especially with valuations, financial modeling, and data analyses. Foster your career in a versatile and interesting environment and help our clients to find their way in the areas of due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, company valuation, and strategy analysis. To strengthen our team further, we are looking for you as an intern (100% for 6 months).

• From the first day, you will work in a diverse team with experienced colleagues. The coaching by your team will help you to develop your technical know-how and soft skills;
• You will primarily work on the creation of financial analyses (financial due diligence) on the target companies to provide customers with important insights for strategic investment decisions;
• You will support in different projects from the areas of mergers & acquisitions, company valuation, and strategic corporate development;
• You will support in marketing presentations, research, and market analyses;
• You will have the unique chance to gain deep insights into the businesses of national and international companies from various industries and continuously expand your knowledge through varied tasks, cross-departmental assignments, and diverse training opportunities.

Skills you bring — skills with which you shape the future

• You have completed a master's degree in economics or a STEM field (natural sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or are about to complete it (preferably with a focus or minor in corporate finance, accounting, and/or strategy);
• You have a great interest in corporate transactions, strategic issues, and the financial services sector and have ideally already gained initial experience in these areas;
• You possess strong analytical skills, coupled with a clear way of expression and communication enthusiasm;
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge in processing and visualizing large data sets (e.g., with Python or PowerBI) is an advantage;
• Good communication and presentation skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of French and/or other European languages is advantageous;
• An open, humorous, and dynamic personality and an independent working style.
