Our SCCF-OFF team helps clients interpret complex financial and non-financial data sets and respond to them, offering stakeholders real-time, reliable forward-looking views by leveraging leading operating models and technology platforms.

Our evolving finance function optimization service offering includes Strategy and Operating Model of the Finance Function, Performance and Cost Management, Business Process Optimization, Enterprise Resource Planning ("ERP") systems, Enterprise Performance Management ("EPM") tools, Finance Integration in M&A, and Data Analytics.

Your main responsibilities

As a senior consultant within the Finance Function Optimization group, you will be a member of our team tasked with different missions among our service offerings described above.

Skills and qualities to succeed

• Knowledge of key business processes in a company:
• Procure to Pay
• Order to Cash
• Acquire to Retire
• Record to Report
• Plan to Perform
• Co-leading work sessions
• Writing deliverables in French and English as needed by the client. Our reports are mostly done with MS PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of the operation of integrated management software like Microsoft Business Central or D365 Finance & Operations, SAP S4/HANA, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.
• Basic knowledge of the operation of EPM tools like OneStream, Tagetik, Anaplan, Adaptive, Blackline, etc.
• Maintaining cooperative and supportive relationships with teams from other service lines at EY
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication to maintain quality relationships with clients
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• This role involves interactions with clients on a national and global scale. Therefore, proficiency in both French and English is required to perform this role.

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or data/analysis management
• A minimum of two to four years of professional experience
• Experience in financial accounting or audit, financial analysis, or process optimization/documentation or as an assistant controller in a company
• Experience with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
• Great adaptability and openness to change
• Professional integrity in a business environment
• Functional mastery of both French and English, both orally and in writing

Ideally, you also have:

• A professional accounting title (CPA or equivalent)
• An ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment focused on teamwork and rapid change
• Certification in the configuration of ERP or EPM tools
