Data Engineer Role

Join the Digital & Technology team based in Dunkerque and take on the role of Data Engineer (H/F). You will work in an agile team composed of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Project Managers. You will contribute to data-related challenges and the production of innovative solutions.

Missions:

• Architect, implement, and refine data pipelines both on-premise and in the cloud
• Audit existing data architectures and formulate recommendations for evolution
• Develop technical components and actively contribute to their integration
• Lead projects around data: creation/migration of data lakes, move-to-cloud, industrialization of data science products, etc.
• Communicate project technical advancements and ensure rigorous follow-up
• Explore new technologies and propose innovative solutions while mentoring junior Data Engineers

Profile:

• Graduated with a Bac + 5 in computer science
• You have significant 3 years experience as a Data Engineer
• You have a basic level of English
• You are proficient in several programming languages (SQL, Python, Java, Scala), cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, Snowflake), databases (SQL, NoSQL), Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), and DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes) and have an interest in microservices architecture.
• You collaborate closely with data-related departments, technically support junior profiles, understand the needs of different stakeholders, and provide clear reporting on project progress.
