Fullstack TypeScript Engineer (React Native Focus)

This is a remote position.

Role Overview

We're looking for either 1 exceptional Fullstack TypeScript Engineer (React Native Focus) or 2 solid engineers to join on a 3-month contract (October–December 2025) to help us build and launch the first version of our mobile app.

You'll work directly with the founder and the lead engineer and a part-time designer to deliver key features, including:

• Transactions list and detail views
• Task management (CRUD, sync with calendars)
• Authentication and API integration with our existing backend
• Notifications cycle (push + in-app)
• App Store / Play Store readiness (QA, polish, deploy)

Requirements

• At least 3 years working with React Native + TypeScript
• At least 1 mobile app published to the App Store or Google Play (must provide portfolio or links)
• Strong knowledge of notifications cycle, including push notifications (APNs, FCM) and in-app handling.
• Experience building and optimizing React Native apps for iPadOS (layouts, multitasking, store submission).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication flows, and state management (React Query / Redux Toolkit).
• Familiar with mobile app deployment process (TestFlight, Play Console).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, milestone-driven project.
• Good communication in English (async + weekly syncs).

Nice to Have

• Experience with fullstack TypeScript (Node.js/Express, etc.).
• Experience with real estate, productivity, or transaction apps.
• Knowledge of offline-first data handling in React Native.
• Familiarity with calendar integrations (Google/Microsoft).

Contract & Compensation

• Duration: 3 months (October–December 2025).
• Hours: ~40 hours/week.
• Compensation: $1000/month per engineer (up to $2000/month if we hire just 1 outstanding engineer).
• Fully remote, flexible hours (must overlap 5–10 hrs/week with CET).
