Job Description
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, Python automation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/EKS, Infrastructure as Code, generative AI tools, and infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route53, CloudFormation, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
- Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation
- Develop sophisticated Python-based automation scripts, tools, and frameworks for infrastructure management, deployment orchestration, incident response, log analysis, and operational workflows.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other generative AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, optimize automation scripts, and improve engineering productivity through effective prompt engineering.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, with preference for AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), including helm charts, service mesh, and ingress controllers.
- Perform comprehensive AWS Well-Architected reviews, resource utilization planning, performance tuning, and cloud governance improvements.
- You will report to a DevOps Manager.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services across compute, storage, API, and serverless architectures
- Expert-level proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, API development, and tooling (boto3, requests, etc.)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar AI-assisted development tools for code generation and productivity enhancement
- Practical knowledge of generative AI applications in DevOps workflows, including prompt engineering and AI-driven automation
- Experience building, deploying, or integrating chatbots for operational automation
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (GitHub Actions, AWS native tools)
- Production experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
