Job Description
Automate deployments and monitoring using DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, Jenkins, and Bitbucket to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery timelines. Perform Cross-Platform Cloud migrations (MS SQL to PostgreSQL) and optimize databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and cloud-native platforms like AWS RDS and Aurora. Install, configure, migrate, and scale database platforms for enterprise and cloud-scale environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and extensibility. Implement end-to-end database security, including TDE, access controls, key management, Active Directory/LDAP integration, and SSL encryption. Collaborate with global teams to align technical solutions with business and compliance needs, support production systems, and continuously enhance database infrastructure by staying current with emerging cloud technologies.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud-native database services (e.g., Amazon RDS, Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLServer). • Strong knowledge of RDBMS databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLServer). • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, Jenkins, Bitbucket, CloudFormation). • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS DMS, SCT, and DevOps practices. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Experience with data migration and hybrid cloud environments.
