Finance Manager (FP&A) - B2C Marketing Finance Team

Finance plays a key role in the success of Expedia Group across both corporate and business functions. Our finance teams support corporate FP&A, consumer brands finance support, including partnership with Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo business leaders, as well as B2B finance support for teams such as marketing, product & technology, and supply.

We are looking for a finance manager (FP&A) to join the Expedia Group B2C marketing finance team. In this role you will be finance business partner providing decision support analysis to social and programmatic performance marketing leaders in the US & UK. You will be a catalyst in influencing the strategic decisions across the business, working cross-functionally with brand marketing teams.

The finance manager will support business leaders, central finance team, and executive stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Own weekly marketing performance reviews with the marketing leadership team, including financial and operational metrics
  • Develop deep understanding of social and programmatic channel drivers and marketing KPIs
  • Partner with marketing teams to drive results from optimal capital allocation across channels
  • Analyze large data sets to identify risks/opportunities and influence key marketing decisions
  • Develop business cases and post-mortem evaluations to support marketing investments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with marketing strategies
  • Build monthly forecast and annual budget for the group of social and programmatic performance marketing channels in collaboration with marketing leaders
  • Develop machine learning models for data driven approach to improving efficiency of marketing spend
  • Communicate financial outlooks clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business
  • Own end-to-end monthly reporting process to central marketing finance team including R&O, forecast, variance analysis and measurement of marketing initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes such as financial reporting, modeling, and forecasting

Experience and qualifications:

  • 6+ years of financial/FP&A experience with progressive responsibilities
  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity, ownership, and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working closely with senior management
  • Ability to manage multiple cross functional stakeholders across time-zones
  • Advanced analytics, modeling, forecasting skills with an ability to work with large data sets
  • Strong presentation skills with an ability to influence decisions with cross functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced matrixed organization
  • Experience with finance systems like Hyperion or SAP BPC is a plus
