At Expedia Group, we are passionate about using data and analytics to create an amazing travel experience and bring the world within reach. We are looking for an extraordinary individual to join the Expedia Brand Analytics team and generate powerful insights that will shape business growth. This is an opportunity to be part of a fun, exciting, and data-driven company, and to partner with global strategy and supply teams to design inspiring and actionable business plans powered by quantitative insight.

Your primary focus will extend well beyond pulling data and crunching numbers. You will tackle complex business problems by converting raw data into relevant and actionable business insights. You will work with one of the strongest datasets in the travel industry, state-of-the-art technology, and the ability to see your insights turned into real products.

If you're passionate about using data to drive positive change as part of an all-star analytics team, this may be the role for you. Are you ready to embark on the journey?

In this role, you will:

  • Translate complex business questions into clear, actionable analytical problems.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and deliver insights using SQL, Python, and Tableau (must-have skills).
  • Support decision-making with quantitative analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, and experimentation (including A/B testing).
  • Combine and manipulate data from multiple sources to support strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders across marketing, product, and finance teams to support business priorities.
  • Act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities to drive growth and performance.
  • Translate complex datasets into compelling, executive-ready narratives to drive informed decisions.
  • Participate actively in the broader analytics community to drive best practices and innovation.

Experiences and qualifications:

  • Must-have: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
  • Extensive experience applying statistical methods and experimentation techniques such as A/B testing.
  • Demonstrated experience working with internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
  • Ability to appropriately visualize quantitative analyses for both presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) and reporting purposes (e.g., Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and their practical application.
  • Proven track record in translating big data into strategic and actionable business recommendations; driving end-to-end processes through data extraction, analysis, insight, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Strong technical foundation in analytics and data storytelling.
  • Relevant degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or similar—preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce or the travel industry is a bonus.
  • Strong leadership in project management and stakeholder influence.
