Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the strategic development and expansion of formulation topics, with a focus on particle-specific issues in process engineering.
- Leveraging your expertise, you develop and optimize innovative technologies, methods, and formulation concepts in the field of particle technology.
- You work at the interface of process engineering, chemistry, and biology, driving projects forward.
- In close collaboration with our internal research and development teams, you take on the technical and scientific planning, coordination, and execution of experiments at laboratory, pilot plant, and production scale, and carefully evaluate the results.
- You coordinate project work and the assessment of results in cooperation with internal and external partners, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Through your strong interdisciplinary project work, you promote international collaboration and successfully coordinate projects within flat hierarchies and matrix structures.
- You maintain collaboration with external research institutions and suppliers and actively participate in cross-functional working groups.
Requirements:
- You hold a successfully completed Master's degree in engineering sciences with a focus on process engineering, chemical-biological engineering with a focus on particle technology, mechanical process engineering, or physical chemistry; a PhD is advantageous.
- Your extensive technical expertise in particle technology covers a wide range of topics, including solids handling, drying technology, dispersing and comminution, agglomeration and granulation, coating, and solid-liquid separation.
- Ideally, you bring a solid biotechnological background, including cell structure, basics of cellular metabolism, and industrial biotechnology.
- You have strong German and English language skills, both written and spoken, and communicate confidently at all levels.
- A confident demeanor, assertiveness, and team spirit, as well as a high level of initiative and commitment, round off your profile.
