Responsibilities

• Inspection and maintenance of fire protection facilities at the location
• Maintenance and care of equipment and fire trucks
• 24-hour duty service with tasks such as rescue, fire fighting, technical assistance, and CERN hazard deployments
• Inter-regional assistance services
• Participation in preventive fire protection
• Services and support for various departments

Requirements

• Successfully completed vocational or technical training
• Career training as a group leader in the volunteer fire brigade (Group Leader Basis (NRW) / F3)
• Additional qualification in emergency medical services is an advantage
• Team capability and high social competence
• Willingness for constant further education and training
• Reliability, entrepreneurial behavior, and self-reliance
• Physically fully loadable and breath protection suitability according to G26.3
• Driver's license classes B, C, CE desirable

If you meet the eligibility criteria, further training within the B1 qualification is generally possible.
