Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the planning, coordination, implementation, and quality assurance of digital processes in the process industry
• Independent project management of complex and usually parallel running customer projects using internal and external resources
• Project and order acquisition including technical clarification for cost estimation, offer creation, and time-, cost-, and performance-optimized implementation
• Analysis of current processes, conception of desired processes, implementation of change management measures, and rollout of digital systems and processes
• Creation of load and duty books as well as monitoring, supervision, and documentation of project progress including deviation management
• Participation in the development of digitalization strategies, process descriptions, and the targeted use of artificial intelligence
• Technical coordination of internal and external employees as well as legally compliant commissioning and control of third-party services and specialists
• Interface function between operational service recipients and the IT department in the context of requirement management, rollout, and support

Requirements

• Completed master's degree in engineering in electrical engineering, automation technology, information technology, or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in project and change management of digital processes in the process industry
• High expertise in the field of digitalization and automation of technical processes
• First practical experience in the use of artificial intelligence, preferably in the application of Microsoft technologies (e.g., M365, low-code/platform solutions)
• Solid knowledge in project and change management
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills as well as high result orientation and independence
• Very good German and good English skills in writing and speaking
• Willingness to participate in specialist committees and to occasionally travel for national business trips
