We are looking to recruit four paralegals to join our Legal Project Management team (LPM) to assist our Corporate Finance team with the project management and delivery of transactions. The successful candidates will report to the Head of our LPM team but will have day to day contact and will work closely with our lawyers across both our Corporate and Finance teams nationally.
The LPM team work across both our Corporate Finance and Commercial Advisory group and include ex-corporate lawyers and qualified legal project managers, all of whom are Prince II qualified. Our LPM team coordinate with legal teams and external advisors across jurisdictions to ensure the successful delivery of transactions, allowing our lawyers to focus on providing strategic legal advice. The team work on a variety of transactions and have extensive experience of working on multi-jurisdictional M&A and corporate re-organisations.
Our Finance team is a national practice that regularly advises high profile clients, consisting of UK and global financial institutions, private equity houses, funds and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. The team covers corporate / leverage finance, real estate finance, and debt capital markets.
Our Corporate team advise a range of clients, including some of the world's largest corporations on their most strategic transactions. The team advises clients on both domestic and international matters, working closely with colleagues across the global Eversheds Sutherland network.
We are building a team to focus on the successful delivery of corporate and finance transactions, working closely with our legal team and the LPM team. The successful candidates will support on a variety of banking and corporate transactions in the following key areas: (i) management of documents checklist / conditions precedent checklists and general management of deliverables on transactions; (ii) assisting and organising with closing meetings including implementing remote closings through DocuSign; and (iii) producing closing bibles and managing the delivery of post closings actions and deliverables.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team and gain experience of working across a variety of transactions. The successful candidates will also benefit from training and best practice sharing on successful project management of transactions from our LPM team.
