Network Engineer Junior
We are looking for a Network Engineer Junior for activities with our client operating in the aeronautical sector. As a Network Engineer, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing network solutions to meet business requirements
- Configuring and maintaining network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Resolving network issues and implementing solutions promptly
- Managing and optimizing network performance, capacity, and availability
- Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives
- Developing and maintaining network documentation and standard operating procedures
- Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco and Aruba network equipment
- Competence in network security, firewall configuration, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
- CCNA certification (mandatory)
- Knowledge of English (B2+ level)
The position is full-time and requires on-site presence at the company's headquarters in Venegono Superiore or Vergiate (VA). Permanent employment with a fixed-term contract is expected.
