Technical Strategy Manager
Responsibilities:
Define and implement technical strategies and roadmaps in alignment with the company's objectives.
Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality healthcare technology solutions.
Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product releases.
Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, and maintain high standards of software quality.
Mentor and develop team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into the organization's practices.
Facilitate communication and collaboration within the engineering team and across departments to achieve business goals.
Drive the resolution of technical challenges and lead efforts to improve engineering processes.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for your engineering teams.
Lead with resilience and adaptability, navigating uncertainty and ambiguity to drive success.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and address security concerns throughout the software development lifecycle.
Partner with Customer Success and Support groups to collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements.
Required Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a background in Healthcare technology, experience working on EMR/EHR systems with a growth-stage company, and personal characteristics that complement the team.
Experience in the Healthcare IT space is a must for this role
- 5+ years of experience managing healthcare technology-focused engineering teams
- Experience designing and building platform-level "enabling" services
- Experience with EMR/EHR data models and other industry specifications including:
- HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, CPT Codes, EDI
- Experience understanding HIPAA compliance and information/security requirements
