As a Technical Support Specialist, you will work in our laboratory in Barneveld. You are part of the Facilities team, which consists of 8 people. Technical Support: Are you technically skilled, hands-on, and driven to make our modern, automated laboratory environment run smoothly? Then we are looking for you! Technical support specialist, you are the central point of contact for the management and maintenance of our advanced laboratory systems and building installations. In this role, you ensure that all equipment and installations function optimally, perform preventive maintenance, resolve malfunctions, and work closely with internal teams and external suppliers. You are a true problem solver who also thinks about improvements to make processes more efficient and sustainable. What will you do? Asset management: You manage the asset management of our automated laboratory systems and building installations. Maintenance planning: You plan preventive maintenance for both building installations and our automated lab processes. Troubleshooting: When technical malfunctions occur, you are the first point of contact. You analyze the problem, resolve it yourself, or involve the supplier if necessary. Spare parts management: You manage the inventory of spare parts and ensure that essential parts are always available. Ticket management: You oversee our technical ticket box and handle notifications regarding malfunctions, workplace furnishings, and other facility defects. Coordination of technicians: You hire external technicians and guide them in carrying out repairs and maintenance work. Inspections and repairs: You perform inspections on robots, demi-water installations, compressors, lab equipment, and building-related installations. Any defects you resolve yourself. Signal improvements: You critically review processes and installations and propose improvements for greater efficiency or sustainability. General technical support: This includes internal relocations, assisting in the commissioning of new installations, or helping with logistics tasks such as loading and unloading goods.
