Qualifications

Senior QA Engineer Automation Required Experience and Skills Job summary: This role is for an experienced Manual Web Application Tester who will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of our web applications. You will play a critical part in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects to ensure the product's functionality, usability, and overall quality before its release. You will collaborate closely with development, product management, and other teams to maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and manual test cases for web applications.
• Perform manual scripted and exploratory testing to ensure applications meet functional and quality requirements.
• Identify, log, and track software defects using a defect tracking program, providing clear and detailed documentation.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new software updates do not introduce new issues and that existing functionality remains stable.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve identified issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports.
• Participate in product reviews to ensure quality and user experience are prioritized.
• Ensure all testing adheres to industry best practices and company quality standards.

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in manual software testing, with a focus on web applications.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and how web applications function.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and report defects.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of Performance testing.
• Knowledge of Security testing.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in automation testing and related tools (e.g., Selenium or Playwright) is a plus.
• Experience in user experience (UX) design or usability testing.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.

Required Qualifications:

Performance Appraisal Criteria: Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
