Eurofins MicroSafe Laboratories in Leiden is a GMP certified contract laboratory for the (bio)pharmaceutical industry. Eurofins MicroSafe counts approximately 70 employees and is part of the internationally operating Eurofins Scientific. We have a professional team consisting of a mix of young and experienced people with different backgrounds and experiences.

Eurofins MicroSafe Laboratories offers unique testing to examine the safety, effectiveness, and quality of a biological medicine, including cell and gene therapies, vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies. We can, for example, demonstrate whether a medicine is free from microbial, viral, or production process related contaminations. In addition to performing standard tests, we also set up product specific tests in close collaboration with the customer.

Function Description

As a QA Support Officer, you will be part of the QA team of Eurofins MicroSafe and be responsible for the archive and various administrative tasks. By managing the archive in a careful manner, you ensure that all documentation can be quickly available for colleagues and external stakeholders, such as our customers. The administrative tasks include organizing and processing data and reporting thereof.

You will receive training and instruction during the onboarding period to ensure a good start. It is important that you have an affinity for working according to a quality system in a GxP environment, for example, obtained through previous QA, QC, or Operator experience.

As a QA Support Officer, you are responsible for:

• Administratively supporting the quality systems;
• Archiving documentation according to the applicable procedure; scanning. Filling Excel files with data from the lab or eLIMS exceptions.
• Looking up requested documentation, after an internal request or during audits;
• Implementing improvements with regard to the archive;
• Keeping the archive database up to date;
• Routinely making and issuing logs and other quality documents;
• Reviewing data.

Function Requirements

As a QA Support Officer, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Minimum MBO work and thought level in the direction of microbiology, molecular biology, medical biology, biochemistry, or (bio)pharmacy;
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar position within a GMP/GLP/ISO (bio)pharmaceutical organization;
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems, such as GMP/GLP/ISO;
• Accurate, problem-solving, and flexible;
• A self-reliant, accurate work attitude;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• Good communication skills, customer-oriented, team player, sense of responsibility;
• Residing in the Netherlands and in possession of a valid work permit.
