To strengthen our dynamic team of the Eurofins Umwelt Institut Jäger GmbH, we are looking for you at the location Tübingen as soon as possible as a Laborant (m/w/d) Gaschromatographie in full-time for a fixed term of one year (with the option to extend).

Job Description

• As a Laborant (m/w/d) you will take over the sample preparation through various extraction or derivatization methods and the analysis of environmental samples (water samples) with various quantitative and qualitative investigation procedures (including GC-MS, GC-FID).
• The evaluation, assessment, and documentation of investigation results are also part of your area of responsibility.
• You are striving to achieve the highest quality and actively help to further increase it. In the event of errors, it is self-evident for you to find the cause in order to systematically prevent them in the future.
• The independent maintenance, care, and calibration of the working devices also belong to your area of responsibility.
• You are also responsible for the management and organization of the consumables requirement and the creation and revision of test instructions.

Qualifications

• You have a successfully completed training as a chemical laboratory assistant (m/w/d) or CTA (m/w/d) and have already gained two years of experience in gas chromatography and in a LIMS application.
• Your working method is independent, efficient, and structured.
• You combine pronounced team and communication skills with technical expertise and a high willingness to learn.
• High reliability and commitment are self-evident for you.
